Login

What is my login?

Your login is your email address. You should also be able to use the short form of this, i.e., the stuff to the left of the @ sign.

What is my password?

Hey, I don't know that! The Admin sets user passwords by going to the Admin tab, and clicking the little lock icon next to your name.

Staff Profile

How do I change my phone number, email address, name, etc.?

Contact information is changed by the administrator through the Admin tab. Plead your case with them.

How do I change the education, affiliations, etc., information that shows up in my individual staff page?

There's a link on the splash page to "change your personal page." Click that.

Records Tab

Sometimes I search for a record, but it doesn't appear

The search needs to have a minimum of 4 characters. So, if you search for, say, "ABI" it won't produce results, even though you have all those wonderful ABI Informs.

How do I produce a list of all the free items we own?

If you click on the "browse items" link, you'll see a series of icons underneath the letters of the alphabet. Click on the little green lock icon to see all unrestricted items. You can also see all items with restricted access by clicking on the red lock, all full text items by clicking on that icon, and so on.

How do I add a new record?

Click the "Add New Item" link. There are instructions here: Adding a Record
